The primary duty and goal for the Municipal Court is to provide equal justice to all of our citizens. To achieve this goal, the Municipal Judges conduct bench and jury trials, prepare and sign arrests and search warrants based on probable cause, conduct bond hearings and provide legal consultation to our Police Department, other city departments, and citizens throughout the community.

Court Fees
There are no court fees charged by the municipal court. The State does require that 52% be added to any fine for fees and assessments to fund various state agencies. This fee and assessment amount is sent to the State Treasurer each month.
