CLEMSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED

On May 14th and May 17, 2013 the City of Clemson experienced two armed robberies within a three (3) night time frame.  Shortly after the May 17th attempt at the Little Ceasers in Clemson, the City of Seneca experienced an armed robbery of a convenience store on the 123 bypass.  Through some excellent inter-agency cooperation and further investigation by Clemson City Detectives; the Clemson City Police Department has arrested and charged two individuals for these crimes.

Both subjects have been charged with the Armed Robbery of Wendy’s in Clemson and the Attempted Armed Robbery of Little Ceasers located within downtown Clemson.  No cash was taken from Little Ceasers and the suspects fled from the inside once the alarm activated at Little Ceasers while attempting to carry out the robbery, which led to the charge of Attempted Armed Robbery.

ARRESTED:

  1. Alexander Oneil Hunter; DOB: August 09, 1989; from Seneca, SC; charged with one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Attempted Armed Robbery; Hunter has been denied bond and is currently being held at the Oconee County Detention Center

  1. Deaundre Shermande Harbin; DOB: May 30, 1994; also from Seneca, SC; charged with one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Attempted Armed Robbery; Harbin has been issued a $30,000.00 surety bond and is currently being held at the Clemson City Jail.
